Fruit Smoothies

Smoothies are a great snack for children and most importantly, when packed full of fruit, healthy.

 

Banana smoothie

1 banana
½ cup vanilla yogurt
Dash of milk

  1. Peel and chop up the banana
  2. Put the banana, yogurt and milk into a food processor and blend until smooth
  3. Pour smoothie into a glass

Banana and berry smoothie

1 banana
1 cup mixed berries
½ cup vanilla yogurt
Dash of milk

  1. Peel and chop up the banana
  2. Put the banana, berries, yogurt and milk into a food processor and blend until smooth
  3. Pour smoothie into a glass

Pineapple smoothie

½ pineapple
1 banana
½ cup vanilla yogurt
Dash of milk

  1. Peel and chop up the banana
  2. If using a fresh pineapple, peel and chop into pieces
  3. Put the pinapple, banana, yogurt and milk into a food processor and blend until smooth
  4. Pour smoothie into a glass

Berry smoothie

A handful each of strawberries, blueberries and raspberries
½ cup vanilla yogurt
Dash of milk

  1. Wash the all the berries in cold water
  2. Take the green tops off the strawberries and cut strawberries in half
  3. Put all the berries, yogurt and milk into a food processor and blend until smooth
  4. Pour smoothie into a glass
